Fancy a Shag on top of a castle?

Actually I think it's a Cormorant. Normally these birds would be found on cliffs and islands on sheltered coasts. But during the winter they can be seen on estuaries, resevoirs and rivers. Often you would see them with their wings spread to dry out after a spot of fishing. This one seems quite happy just having a look around. Posted by Picasa
